Hi there! I am Abby Young, the creative weirdo behind Rainy Day Threads. A self-proclaimed fabric aficionado, my love for quilting and sewing runs deeper than my love for a refreshing Diet Coke on a hot summer day (or pretty much every day, really). While I am stitching up a storm in my cozy, yet chaotic workspace, you can find me lost in the fascinating world of podcasts, audiobooks, and Netflix bingeing!
Despite my undeniable passion for all things quilty, I also proudly wear the hats of wife and mom to two adorable kiddos. My days are a delicate juggling act of bobbins and chauffeuring, with just the right amount of chaos and creativity thrown in for good measure.
